ZONING ORDINANCE REWRITE,
REPEALING AND REPLACING ORDINANCE NO. 174
Please take notice that the first reading of Ordinance No. 206, “Zoning Ordinance Rewrite, Repealing and Replacing Ordinance No. 174,” was held on September 21, 2026, at the regular meeting of the Charter Township of Superior Board of Trustees held at Charter Township of Superior Hall, 3040 N. Prospect Road, Superior Township, MI 48198. Second reading and consideration for adoption is scheduled for October 19, 2026.
Ordinance No. 206 provides for the adoption of a comprehensive revision of the Superior Charter Township Zoning Ordinance, including the zoning map; repeals and replaces existing Zoning Ordinance No. 174 and its amendments; preserves certain existing rights, approvals, obligations, violations, and enforcement proceedings; and provides for severability, publication, and an effective date.
Publication of the Ordinance is made by posting this notice and a full copy of proposed Ordinance 206 repealing and replacing the Ordinance 174 and the revised zoning map in the Office of the Clerk, Charter Township of Superior, 3040 N. Prospect Road, Superior Township, MI 48198, on the Township website. https://superiortownship.org. This notice of publication by posting is also published in the Ann Arbor News pursuant to MCL 42.8.
