Mobile Food Service Unit (MFSU) Permit process
To operate as a Mobile Food Service Unit (MFSU) in Superior Township (and other participating communities) you must have a current Washtenaw County Mobile Food Truck Consortium Inspection and a valid State of Michigan Health Department License. Once you have your inspections follow the steps below:
- Register with IROL
- Notify Planning & Zoning and the Fire Marshal you have completed registration and are ready to schedule your inspection by contacting: permits.foodtrucks@superior-twp.org.
- Your completed form will be reviewed by the Superior Township Fire Marshal.
- The Superior Township Planning & Zoning Department will issue a permit once the above steps are completed.
The Permit will be valid for the remainder of the calendar year and will expire with your Health Department License on April 1st. The permit must be displayed in a location that is visible from the front of the MFSU.
