Overview

The program under Superior Charter Township implements the recently adopted Rental Housing Certification Ordinance (Ordinance 196) to register, inspect, and certify rental properties throughout the township. Its purpose is to ensure that all rented units meet health, safety and habitability standards, protect tenants and maintenance of neighborhoods, and promote accountability among landlords and property managers.
