ORDINANCE NO. 203
CONSUMERS ENERGY COMPANY GAS FRANCHISE ORDINANCE
Please take notice that the first reading of proposed Ordinance No. 203, entitled: “Consumers Energy Company Gas Franchise Ordinance, Repealing and Replacing Ordinance No. 136,” was held on May 18, 2026, at a regular meeting of the Charter Township of Superior Board of Trustees held at Superior Township Hall, 3040 N. Prospect Road, Superior Township, Michigan 48198.
Second reading and consideration for adoption of the proposed ordinance is scheduled for June 15, 2026. The proposed ordinance would grant Consumers Energy Company the right and authority to lay, maintain, and operate gas lines and related facilities within public places in the Charter Township of Superior for a period of thirty years and would repeal and replace Ordinance No. 136.
