CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF SUPERIOR

ORDINANCE NO. 174-27

BROOKWOOD OF SUPERIOR AREA PLAN AMENDMENT – FIRST READING

 

Please take notice that the first reading of Ordinance No.174-27 – Brookwood Superior Township Area Plan Amendment, was made at the regular meeting of the Charter Township of Superior Board of Trustees on March 18, 2024, at the Superior Charter Township Hall located at 3040 N. Prospect Road, Ypsilanti, MI  48198. This ordinance is hereby amending the Charter Township of Superior Ordinance Number 174, designated Superior Charter Township Zoning Ordinance, adopted August 4, 2008, and effective August 14, 2008, as amended, and the zoning district map attached thereto and made a part thereof, are hereby amended from the present PC (Planned Community – Leforge Clark Estates) to PC (Planned Community – Brookwood Superior Township), Brookwood Superior Township, Special District Area Plan Amendment. The second reading and consideration for adoption is scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2024, at the regular meeting of the Charter Township of Superior Board of Trustees. Publication of the Ordinance is made by posting in the Office of the Clerk, 3040 N. Prospect, Ypsilanti MI, 48198, in the Ann Arbor News (a newspaper circulating within the Township) and on the Township website – www.superiortownship.org – pursuant to Section 8 of the Charter Township Act, being MCL 42.8, 3(b). This Ordinance shall be published by posting in the Office of the Clerk, 3040 N. Prospect, Ypsilanti, 48198, and on the Township website – www.superiortownship.org pursuant to Section 8 of the Charter Township Act, being MCL 42.8, 3(b) within thirty (30) days following the final adoption thereof.  This Ordinance shall become effective on the eighth day following said publication or such later date as is provided by law. All ordinance or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
