The Parks Commission meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. unless the meeting date falls on a holiday (please contact the Parks Department for the new meeting date). The Commission meets in Township Hall located 3040 N. Prospect Rd. Ypsilanti, MI 48198.

Backyard Bird Watching
Join the Parks and Recreation Department for Bird Watching for Beginners! This easy guided hike through LeFurge Woods is designed for bird watching beginners for all ages to learn about local birds and how to view them in the wild with binoculars. Board of Trustees meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m at the Township Hall. If a national holiday falls on third Monday, the meeting is held on the Tuesday immediately following the holiday. Occasionally, a regular meeting may be canceled, or a special meeting may be called. Special meetings are only called when necessary to conduct specific Township business.
