In September 2016, the Michigan Legislature passed and the governor signed into law three bills that created a licensing and regulatory framework for medical marihuana. This regulatory framework was implemented – and applications were made available – on December 15, 2017.
The township is soliciting opinions from members of our community and other potential stakeholders surrounding adopting or not adopting a Superior Township Ordinance to permit or ban legal marijuana related activities in Superior Township pursuant to the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act, Public Act 281 of 2016 (MMFLA).
