    SEMCOG Grant Approved

Superior Township Supervisor Ken Schwartz is pleased to announce that Superior Township has been notified by SEMCOG (South East Michigan Council of Governments) that a grant has been approved in the amount of $429,506.

This grant will be used to extend the non-motorized path from the corner of Geddes and Prospect to the corner of Prospect and Berkshire, thus completing a vital link in the non-motorized plan for Superior Township.

The exact details need to be worked through; however, we can expect that engineering and construction bid documents will be prepared in 2020 and possible construction later this year or in 2021.
