Public Information Meeting regarding Geddes Road Improvements

BACKGROUND:

The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 6 pm at Superior Township Hall regarding improvements to Geddes Road.

The meeting will include a brief presentation at 6 pm and will be followed by an open house format, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the proposed project with WCRC staff.

The Geddes Road improvements include the pulverization and rehabilitation of Geddes Road between LeForge Road and Prospect Road and the replacement of a concrete culvert on Geddes Road east of LeForge Road.

The project will begin on June 26, 2017 and is expected to be completed in early September.  Geddes Road will be closed throughout construction with traffic detoured to LeForge Road, Clark Road, and Prospect Road.  Utility relocation work is currently being completed by other entities.
